I am Pamela and as a family we run Sew Picturesque a gift shop located in the town centre of Llangefni. We sell a variety of gifts and cards for all occasions with a wide choice of items available in both Welsh and English.

Here at sew Picturesque we pride ourselves on our range of exclusive handmade gifts and our photography taken by myself, Pamela Thomas the founder of Sew Picturesque. After visiting family on Anglesey for many years and falling in love with the local area, I finally made the leap and moved. I decided to continue my passion for photography, giving me another opportunity to further my career in this field.

I opened Sew Picturesque to showcase my work. I am amazed by the images captured of the beauty spots around Anglesey and North Wales. Along with some breath-taking scenery there is also the local Wildlife, including the Kingfishers, Puffins and predominately the Red Squirrel, which is exclusive to the area and found only a few minutes away from the store, one of many privileges to living in this area.

​ Our images have proved increasingly popular with the locals and tourists and we now offer exclusive photo printed items including mugs, clocks and home décor along with the mounted images which can be viewed and purchased both online and in our new gallery which will be opening shortly above the gift shop. Since lockdown and having been closed for business, I’ve taken the time to once again get my creative mojo back, producing various new pieces of artwork and some illustrations and composites.
